Harrowells Solicitors are delighted to announce that their ongoing support of apprentice jockeys continues this racing year. Poppy Bridgwater will be flying the flag this season and we wish her good luck and good health throughout.
Poppy rides out of the Tony Carroll’s yard at Pershore. At 20 years of age and in her second full season Poppy has impressed many with her skill set and quickly rode out her 7lb claim last year.
Another year, another challenge!
Poppy will be writing blogs for us www.horseracinglaw.com throughout the season during which she will undoubtedly enlighten us upon racing generally, the life of an apprentice, her own success and of course her well know love of goats! Similarly you can follow her on both Twitter @PoppBridgwater and Instagram @poppybridgwater
Poppy donned the badges for the first time on Saturday 20th April at a somewhat windswept though sunny Brighton and we are grateful to course photographer Nigel Bowles for capturing the same.
So being entirely biased and wholly unscientific we would encourage you to keep an eye out for Poppy and give her your support. The life of an apprentice is not an easy one.
So again welcome Poppy, we are delighted you have agreed to work with us and we wish you every success in the year ahead. We look forward to hearing more from you throughout the season.
