Following hearings on 19 June 2017 and 12 September 2017, the British Horseracing Authority’s Licensing Committee has today granted Suzi Best a training licence.
There are a number of conditions attached to the licence, which will be finalised at a later date, but Best is understandably delighted to have been finally given the chance to begin her training career, subject to a satisfactory re-inspection of her yard at Grandstand Stables in Lewes, East Sussex.
“Despite an interminable process, Suzi Best is thrilled to have been granted a trainer’s licence by the British Horseracing Authority,” said Best’s solicitor, George Primarolo of Harrowells Solicitors.
“The last twelve months have been a particularly trying time for Suzi and her family which has put an enormous amount of strain on the business at Grandstand Stables. However, Suzi is now focused on making a successful start to her training career and would like to thank the owners at her yard who have shown great loyalty over the past few months.”
